Pre/Postnatal Exercise & Wellness Support

assessment & exercise prescription $100

1 hr personal training session $50

I received my BS in Exercise Science in May 2013 and have also earned my ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist certification. I have previously worked in cardiac rehabilitation and as a health educator/wellness coach in hospital settings. I've worked with a variety of populations, including patients with diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, and more.

Exercising while pregnant has many benefits and may include:

  • Preventing (or managing) gestational diabetes

  • Shortened labor time

  • Strengthened pelvic floor

  • Decrease anxiety

  • More energy

  • Better sleep

  • Quicker postpartum recovery

  • Lower risk of premature birth

You MUST have clearance from your healthcare provider before you begin an exercise program. An assessment & exercise prescription are required before your first personal training session. There are relative and direct contraindications for exercise. Please inquire for more information.
